Camp At Quinneys Recount

On one sunny bright day we went to Quinneys Bush bursting with excitement.  It had been  a long time waiting for this beautiful day.  Finally the day has come.  I was rushing to school with enjoyment to go to Quinneys.

The reason to go to camp is to get to know each other better like their personalities and hobbies.

Rafting!  The best activity.  The rafting was so cool because our raft broke in the middle of the river.

Thanks Mr.B and the parents.  We couldn't have the fun activities and the delicious food without you.  So a big fat.

THANK YOU

The Waterslide
A great post Jaskaran. Really enthusiastic.  Keep it up.  BW

Mars

Mars is the fourth planet from the sun in our milky way galaxy.  Mars is also has the longest and deepest rift in the solar system called Vales Marineris.  The average recorded temperature -63 C(-81 C)

Mars is also known or nicknamed the red planet because it is covered with rust-like dust.  Even the atmosphere is a pinkish red colored by tiny particles of dust thrown up from the surface.

Mars has many massive volcanoes and is home to Olympus Mons, is home in our solar system, it stands 21 km high and is 600 km across the bass.

Mars has a very thin atmosphere made mostly of carbon dioxide.

Mars has very weak gravity which cannot hold onto the atmosphere well.

Polar Ice caps-Mars has both North and South polar ice caps, much like Earth.  Also like Earth, both ice caps are made mostly of frozen water. With so much water frozen in the ice caps of Mars, some scientists think that life could have once existed there.

Length of a year-Mars  is not much farther from the sun than Earth. As a result, a typical year on Mars is 1 year and 320 days.

Olympus Mons on Mars is the largest mountain in the solar system at more than 25 kilometers high that's three times higher than Mount Everest. It is so big that astronomers could see through it telescopes in the 19 century.

Valles Marineris is the the largest canyon in the solar system, stretching 4,000 kilometers across the planet's surface .  If you look at a picture of Mars taken from a telescope,  you will see the giant gash the is Valles Marineris.
